Mario Conti

Partner, Head of Pensions

Mario is head of our pensions team. He qualified as a barrister in 1976 and requalified as a solicitor in 1992. He has specialised in pensions since 1980, initially working in-house for actuaries, pension consultants and administrators, and then moving to private practice in 1992. He has worked mainly for trustees of occupational pension schemes, including statutory and professional trustees, but also from time to time for a variety of corporations.

Among Mario's recent projects are merging and winding up final salary schemes, negotiation of investment management agreements, pensions litigation and dealing with complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman. His work has generally covered the full range of pensions law.
