Louise is a director of our pensions
team. She has worked in pensions since 1977 and has experience of
all aspects of pensions law, having worked for corporate and institutional
employers, trustees of occupational pension schemes, statutory independent
trustees, representative beneficiaries and pension scheme providers.
She advised in relation to a number of privatisations of nationalised
industries and has experience working on public to private deals.
She also advises on pensions-related employment issues such as executive
benefit packages, terminations and flexible benefit schemes. Among Louise’s recent projects are: advising a US multinational
in relation to compromising UK pension debts; advising a major
educational institution on restructuring of key employee benefits;
advising on and documenting the introduction of a new DC section
into an existing DB scheme; establishing a new product for a
personal pension provider; documenting an innovative DB alternative
to a traditional final salary scheme.
