Ian is a partner in our employment and pensions team. He advises on
all aspects of employment law, contentious and non contentious,
largely for employers. His trial experience includes actions
against trade unions, injunctions, contempt of court applications,
and wrongful dismissal. He regularly advises on TUPE, severance
agreements, restrictive covenants and discrimination issues in
the private and educational sectors. Recent cases have included several Director’s exit payments,
advice on misconduct by directors and senior employees, and the
handling of TUPE transfers and redundancy programmes.
