Helen Readett Partner A partner in the banking and insolvency team, Helen acts partly for insolvency practitioners in all non-contentious insolvency work and equally often for companies and clients in acquiring businesses in trouble. A property lawyer by training she advises banks and other lenders on funding businesses and property acquisitions. Recent experience includes acting for a client on the first exit of a company as a going concern from the "new style" administration under the Enterprise Act, advising a bank on structuring lending to two individual parties wishing to fund the construction of a building 50% for one party and 50% for the other party and appropriate protection for the bank and all stakeholders. Advice to directors facing potential insolvency in companies
with regard to debt for equity swaps.
