Heather Leeson Head of London Office Partner Heather is a partner in our banking team and is administrative head of our London office. She specialises in contentious and pre contentious problems e.g. defective security, professional negligence claims, retail banking problems re cheques, mandates, standard banking documents, etc, and also deals with disputes with bank customers and secured debt recovery ie, enforcement of guarantees and charges. For example, Heather has advised the business unit of a major clearing bank on compliance with the Business Banking Code, including reviewing all marketing material, standard security documents, internal and customer-facing forms and associated processes, and she frequently defends complaints against financial institutions, and advises on complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Heather is also involved in general commercial
litigation.
