Dan Johnson
Partner
Dan Johnson is a Partner based in the London office of Martineau
Johnson and a member of the firm’s corporate
group. Dan is an international lawyer who seeks to provide his clients
with advice upon, and assistance with, a broad range of legal and
commercial issues arising both in the UK and worldwide.
As a member of the firm’s Mergers
and Acquisitions Team, Dan specialises in domestic and cross-border
mergers and acquisitions transactions and is actively involved in
a wide range of corporate finance arrangements related to such work.
Work Areas and Experience:
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Completion of a significant number of public and private M
& A transactions (with related equity and debt structuring)
Public Equity
- Considerable involvement with arrangements for the admission
of securities to trading on public markets (both in the UK and
worldwide) and on-going transactional and regulatory support to
the relevant companies
Private Equity
- Substantial activity with the structuring and documenting of
venture capital investments, mid-market private equity/leveraged
buy-out transactions, and joint ventures (through shareholding
arrangements, partnerships, limited partnerships, LLPs and commercial
agreement structures)
Debt Finance
- Closing of an extensive range of debt finance facilities (and
related security arrangements) on behalf of a large number of
debt finance providers
Taxation
- Advising (in tandem with colleague(s) and his clients’
established/other advisers) upon the taxation implications of
all the transactions in which he is involved
